IANTD Divemaster

The IANTD Divemaster course is designed to introduce you to the art of being a scuba diving professional. Your course will include dive theory and practical application in areas including deep diving (to 130 feet), underwater navigation and night diving. Divemaster candidates will be required to give dive briefings and debriefings on dives covering multiple environments.

• Prerequisite: Rescue Diver with 60 logged dives. Must be 18 years old.
• Duration: 2 confined and 10 open water dives. 3 days classroom time

IANTD Cavern Divemaster

This program is designed to extend the diver’s knowledge to safely guide professional cavern tours of non-cavern certified divers (maximum 4) in the overhead environment.

• Prerequisite: Divemaster and Full Cave Diver
• Duration: 3 days, 4 dives
• Cost: $500

IANTD Technical Supervisor

To become an IANTD Technical Supervisor you must first be a Recreational Divemaster and hold a technical diver rating. Your course will include 4 training dives where you will assist on technical courses in a safe and professional manner.

• Prerequisite: Recreational Divemaster and hold a Technical Diver rating
• Duration: 3 days, 4 dives

IANTD Assistant Instructor

The IANTD Assistant Instructor Course requires the candidate to assist an active instructor in conducting at least one Open Water Diver Course, four IANTD Specialty Diver Courses and one Rescue Diver Course prior to certification. In addition, the candidate will complete a full spectrum of classwork to include presentations in the classroom, confined water and open water environments.

• Prerequisite: Recreational Divemaster
• Duration: 2 confined and 2 open water dives. 3 days classroom time. In addition, the candidate will also have to staff 1 Open Water Course, 4 Specialty Courses and 1 Rescue Diver Course

IANTD OW/Nitrox Instructor – IEC

The IANTD Instructor Evaluation Course is for Divemasters and Assistant Instructors from IANTD or any other recognized agency (ACUC, ANDI, CMAS, NAUI, PADI, PDIC, PSA, SDI, SSI, TDI, YMCA, others) who are ready to take that next step and become fully qualified to teach others the joy of scuba diving. Will be certified to teach Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and the IANTD Nitrox Diver Programs.

• Prerequisite: Must be at least 18 years old, a current CPR, First Aid and Oxygen Provider, have been certified to dive for at least 6 months, a current medical examination by a physician, at least 100 logged dives and an entrance interview with an Instructor Trainer.
• Duration: 4 confined and 3 open water dives. Eight days total training time.
• Cost: $1,500

IANTD OW/Nitrox Instructor Crossover

For the Instructor from another recognized agency (ACUC, ANDI, CMAS, NAUI, PADI, PDIC, PSA, SDI, SSI, TDI, YMCA, others) who is ready to crossover to IANTD. Please provide a copy of all Instructor Certification Cards as well as a copy of student counts certified.

• Prerequisite: Instructor from another recognized agency.
• Duration: 2 confined and 4 open water dives. 3 days classroom time.
• Cost: $1,000

IANTD Advanced Nitrox Instructor – IEC

The IANTD Instructor Evaluation Course is for Divemasters and Assistant Instructors from IANTD or any other recognized agency (ACUC, ANDI, CMAS, NAUI, PADI, PDIC, PSA, SDI, SSI, TDI, YMCA, others) who are ready to take that next step and become fully qualified to teach others the joy of scuba diving. Will be certified to teach Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, the IANTD Nitrox Diver, Divemaster, Deep Diver and Advanced Nitrox Diver Programs.

• Prerequisite: Divemasters and Assistant Instructors must be at least 18 years old, a current CPR, First Aid and Oxygen Provider, have been certified to dive for at least 6 months, a current medical examination by a physician, at least 100 logged dives and an entrance interview with an Instructor Trainer. IANTD Advanced Nitrox Instructor Upgrade

For the IANTD OW/Nitrox Instructors who wish to upgrade their certification. The upgrade requires a minimum certification of Advanced Nitrox Diver, which may be completed in conjunction with this course upon IT approval.

• Prerequisite: Requires a minimum of Instructor and Advanced Nitrox Diver certifications in order to enter at this level.
• Duration: 1 confined and 2 open water dives. 2 days classroom time.

IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix Instructor – IEC

IANTD Adv Recreational Trimix Instructor Upgrade

IANTD Nitrox Blending Instructor

Trains the IANTD Instructor in Blending Theory for Nitrox so that he may properly conduct courses in gas blending for store staff and others who have a need for Nitrox Blending.

• Prerequisite: Instructor Nitrox certified.
• Duration: One half day of Classroom.
• Cost: $250

IANTD Trimix Blending Instructor

Train the IANTD Instructor in Blending Theory for Trimix so that he may properly conduct courses in gas blending for store staff and others to blend all technical gas mixes.

IANTD Life Support Systems Service Tech Instructor

Clinic for Instructors to be able to teach Oxygen Service Technician procedures to store staff and others who have a need to be versed in technical service procedures.

IANTD Complete Blending Technician Instructor

Includes training in Nitrox Gas Blending, Trimix Gas Blending and Life Support Systems Service Technician to achieve the Instructor Rating in all three disciplines.

• Prerequisite: Instructor Trimix certified.

IANTD Wreck Instructor

The IANTD Wreck Diving Instructor is a highly regarded overhead environment professional. You must be a minimum of an IANTD EANx Instructor with 150 logged dives. Certification as an IANTD Wreck Diver or equivalent (BSAC, NACD, CDAA, NSS/CDS) is required.

• Prerequisite: At least 50 wreck penetration dives and assist an Instructor with a wreck diving program.
• Duration: 1 confined and 4 open water dives. One day of classroom.
• Cost: $700

IANTD Cavern Instructor

The IANTD Cavern Diving Instructor is a highly regarded overhead environment professional. You must be a minimum of an IANTD EANx Instructor with 150 logged dives. Certification as an IANTD Cave Diver or equivalent (BSAC, NACD, CDAA, NSS/CDS) is required.

• Prerequisite: At least 50 cave dives and assist an Instructor with a cave diving program.
• Duration: 1 confined and 4 open water dives. Two days of classroom.
• Cost: $700

IANTD Intro Cave Instructor

This Program is designed to provide quality training to divers advancing into introductory cave diving. In Addition, it serves as a mechanism to further develop overhead teaching experience for instructor, enabling them to evolve to more competent Cave Instructors. The IANTD Introductory Cave Instructor may teach all levels of the IANTD Sport Diver Programs plus they may assist / supervise a Cave Instructor in a Cave / Advanced Cave Diver Programs.

• Prerequisite: At least 100 cave dives and assist an Instructor with one complete Intro cave diving program.
• Duration: 1 confined and 4 open water dives. Two days of classroom.

IANTD Full Cave Instructor

This Program is designed to provide further training to Intro Cave Instructor, to teach more complex cave exploration and techniques.

• Prerequisite: At least 150 cave dives and assist an Instructor with a cave diving program.

IANTD Technical Full Cave Instructor

This Program is designed to develop competent Instructor for teaching the safe use of EANx mixtures while cave diving. The Technical Cave Instructor may teach all IANTD Sport and Technical Programs up through IANTD Technical Diver, IANTD Cave Diver and IANTD Technical Cave Diver.

• Prerequisite: At least 150 Technical dives and at least 100 where cave dives and assist an Instructor with a cave diving program.
