With ship wrecks such as the "Capitan Alsina" which lays at a depth of between 30 meters to 40 meters, and the "Don Quiko" at a depth ranging from 50 meters to 60 meters; not to forget the wall who start at 60 meters to end at... who knows. La Caleta National park is the perfect location to complete your Technical Diver, Wreck Diver, Normoxic Trimix Diver and Trimix diver Courses.

The Technical and Cave classes are done through IANTD (International Association Nitrox and Technical Divers) who are the leader in all Technical aspects of diving since 1985.

Class Descriptions & Prices

EANx Diver

This program is designed to provide Sport Divers with a safer breathing medium for enjoying dives in the 12 to 39 meters (40 to 130 Ft) depth range. The program covers the use of EANx mixes in the range of 21% to a maximum of 40% oxygen.

• Duration: 1 day, 2 dives

Deep Diver

This program is designed to provide responsible training to divers who plan to dive to a maximum of 39 meters (130 Ft) on air. The IANTD Deep Diver program trains divers in skills, performance, theory and planning of deep dives.

• Prerequisite: Advanced Open Water Diver
• Duration: 2 days, 100 MBT* 4 dives

Advanced EANx Diver

This program further develops diving skills and provides a greater understanding of the EANx concept of diving. The program employs mixes from 21% to a maximum of 40% for diving and up to 50% oxygen for decompression and / or safety stop.

Technical Diver

This program is designed to train divers to conduct dives to depths between 30 meters (130 Ft) and 51 meters (170 Ft) using custom blend breathing gas mixture; and to provide greater understanding of custom blend breathing gas mixtures, a complete knowledge of the limits of any EANx mixture, ant the use of EANx and oxygen for decompression.

Normoxic Trimix Diver

This program is designed to train those who wish to dive to depths between 39 meters (130 Ft) and 60 meters (200 Ft) , but do not wish to breathe air below 39 meters (130 Ft). Trimix affords a means of reducing narcosis on dives to such depths.

• Prerequisite: Technical Diver with 100 logged dives
• Duration: 3 days, 280 MBT*, 5 dives

Trimix Diver

This Program is designed for those individuals already involved in deep diving activities, but is not intended to be used as an enticement to divers who are content to remain in Sport or EANx diving limits. Trimix affords a safer means for deep-water exploration for divers who dive deep or perform with a clear head at depth. The IANTD Trimix Diver Program requires the diver to be self-sufficient/reliant. The knowledge and skills taught in this program are more than adequate to qualify divers to perform Trimix Dives outside of training up to 333 fsw (100 msw).

• Prerequisite: Technical Diver, Technical Cave Diver, Technical Wreck Diver, Normoxic Trimix Diver or equivalent, 200 logged dives. with 100 logged dives
